Max is a Production Designer based in London, with 5 years experience working in the art department. 

Getting a BA in Film Studies from the University of Southampton, Max then began his career working in the props department on Sam Mendes’ Empire of Light (2022). 

Gaining experience across feature films, HETV, music videos, and commercials, he now turns his focus to independent projects where he can collaborate with smaller crews to realise stories worth telling. 

After serving as Production Designer on Angling for Love (2025), commissioned as part of Yarns 2025, Max now looks forward to continuing to turn great scripts with limited resources into lived-in worlds, from the fantastic to the familiar.
