Max is a Production Designer based in London, with 5 years experience working in the art department. 

After getting a BA in Film Studies from the University of Southampton Max began his career working in the props department on Sam Mendes’ Empire of Light (2022). 

Gaining experience across feature films, HETV, music videos, and commercials, he now turns his focus to independent projects where he can collaborate with smaller crews to realise stories worth telling. 

Production designing the Yarns commissioned Angling for Love (2025) last year, Max now looks forward to continuing to turn great scripts and limited resources into lived-in worlds that meld the fantastic with the familiar.
